Welcome to the website of the School of Economics and Management Science of the University of Ioannina.

The School of Economics and Management Science was founded in 2018 with the integration of TEI Epirus into the University of Ioannina (Law 4559/2018) and consists of the Department of Economics based in Ioannina and the Department of Accounting and Finance based in Preveza.

The School provides high-level education, with an emphasis on student-centered learning, and aims to develop students’ critical thinking and analytical skills.

The School offers modern and comprehensive study programs at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. The study programs are fully aligned with European standards and guidelines and include core courses that provide the basic background of the academic discipline and elective courses that allow students to tailor their studies based on their preferences and future goals. The study programs are reviewed at regular intervals to further improve their quality and attractiveness and provide students with all necessary academic resources to smoothly enter the labor market or pursue a career in academia.

The academic staff of the School has a decisive contribution in ensuring the quality of studies. The professors conduct high-level research with an international impact and aim to extrapolate and exploit the results of the generated knowledge for the benefits of society and the economy.
