The Department of Accounting and Finance was established by Presidential Decree 84\/2013, through the merger of the Department of Accounting and the Department of Finance and Auditing of the former Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Epirus.\n\nThe mission of the Department is to advance scientific knowledge and research in the broader field of economic science, with a specialization in accounting, finance, and business administration.

The Department\u2019s study programs meet the current demands of both the Greek and international economy, providing students with a strong theoretical foundation and practical skills. They focus on topics related to the organization, operation, and evaluation of accounting and financial services, both in private sector enterprises and public sector organizations

Graduates of the Department possess the necessary qualifications to pursue careers in a wide range of professional fields, such as accounting and tax consulting, internal and external auditing, financial analysis, investment management, and administrative support for organizations. At the same time, the Department fosters collaborations with professional bodies, businesses, and public institutions, enhancing its outward orientation, practical training, and the connection between academic studies and the labor market.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
